White Tara - Tshering Drolkar
November 14 to 22, 2026
Among the many enlightened manifestations that arise for the benefit of beings, White Tara holds a special place. She embodies the gentle and immediate expression of enlightened compassion, protecting life, alleviating illness, and bestowing longevity upon those who aspire to devote their precious human existence to the Dharma.
According to tradition, Tara arose from the tears shed by Avalokiteshvara upon witnessing the immeasurable suffering of beings. Born from these tears of profound compassion, she vowed to work tirelessly for the swift liberation of all beings.
While Green Tara manifests the swift and dynamic activity of compassion, White Tara expresses its peaceful and profound dimension—boundless, serene, and all-pervading.
During this retreat, in addition to the teachings recently bestowed by His Holiness Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgön Tai Situpa, Pema Dönyöd Nyingjé Wangpo, Lama Sangyay Tendzin will offer detailed instructions on the sadhana composed by the 8th Situpa, Chökyi Jungnay.
We warmly invite you to embrace this precious opportunity to deepen your understanding, practice, and realization of this sadhana, which is accessible to dedicated practitioners.
